Let me just start this post by saying I am extremely, extremely sorry it has been so long. If you are a loyal follower of mine (in which case, thank you so much! You don't know how much it means to me) you have probably been wondering what has become of me and whether I have been mauled by a ferocious bear or whatnot. I hope to explain all of this in one of the many future blog posts I'll be making soon.
Anywho, one of the many things that has happened in my temporary sojourn was that I was nominated by not one, but two amazing blogs for the Liebster award! I am so honoured and excited and thankful and I suggest you go check the two blogs that nominated me if you're reading this:

As I was nominated for two, I've got 22 questions to answer so bear with me folks....
In reply to Clare's questions:
1. What would you say is your best feature?
I'd probably have to say my eyes. I've always been told they are rather enormous but I quite like that.
2. Who was/is your first love?
I have yet to find this mystical creature. Crushes, temporary infatuations, yes. Love? Not so much. I'm a romantic with no particularly romantic experiences.
3. Who is your hero?
I have lots of heroes, but probably the biggest inspiration for me at the moment is John Green (author of the Fault in Our Stars). I admire him so much, not only for his incredible writing talent, but also because he seems like the sort of person that has always stuck with who he is and now found success in that. With so many people at school pretending to be who they aren't, it is such a reassurance to know that people like him exist and if I am having a bad day it is always his videos I go to watch first.
4. Favourite beauty product?
Gaaaaaaaahhhhh....so difficult. I think it might have to be Garnier Fructis' miraculous argan oil. It makes my hair feel so soft and silky and smells absolutely delish. Not too expensive either!
5. What is your dream job?
A famous novelist, detective investigator of Sherlock-esque crimes or a doctor. A range, I know!
6. Tea or Coffee?
Coffee coffee coffeeeeee all the way.
7. What is the soundtrack of your life? (Song that describes you)
'Brown eyed girl' by Van Morrison or 'December, 1963 (Oh what a night)' by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
8. Tell us a secret (go on you know you wanna!)
A secret. Oooh errr... well, it's not really a secret to the people that know me, but I've always had anxiety and get panic attacks or almost panic attacks about five times a week. Most of the time it's not even noticeable but it is very distracting for work and things so I am trying to get better.
9. If you could visit any other country, which would it be?
Greece, I think. Or maybe Italy.
10. Favourite item of clothing
Probably my Staring at Stars majestic pants I got from Urban Outfitters a while ago. They are so comfy and light and can be worn casually or when going out.
11. Shoes or handbags?
I'm actually going to have to go with handbags here. In New Zealand shoes aren't always a necessity.

1. What's your morning routine?
Wake up to alarm at 6:30. Fall out of bed. Get changed. Go up for a breakfast of cereal with chopped fruit. Brush teeth. Wash face (I have a shower in the evening). Style hair. Apply makeup. Pack bag. Catch bus to school. Not very exciting but not most routines are!
2. What is your pet peeve?
People that think they're all that. I hate being patronised by people who think they are better simply because they've had sex or smoked. You're the ones with tar in your lungs, people.
3. If someone was handing out flyers, would you take it?
Yes. It's their job and as much as the flyers can be pointless and annoying, the people handing them out are only trying to get to their next payday and I know how that feels.
4. Cat or dog?
Dog
5. What's your favourite body part?
My head
6. Cheesiest thing you've said to anyone?
"You are you. Don't ever forget that. I love you so much. I don't know what I'd do without you."
7. All time favourite show?
It would have to be Downton Abbey.
8. Do you believe in superstitions?
I do actually! I can be very superstitious at times. Black cat crossing a road = bad luck and all that.
9. What is something you really want to get done on your bucket list?
I'm a big romantic so probably to meet someone I really feel strongly about. I don't even care about settling down with them. I just want to meet someone and to have them feel the same about me, even if it's for a little while. Either that or to help out in Africa or write a novel.
10. What is your hobby?
Writing, of course! I also really love running and I bake when I'm upset about something.
11. What would you like to do with 1 million dollars?
First I would use it so I could go to uni in England. Then I would probably travel the world and give money to various different charities across the globe. If I had any more left I would buy an apartment in London or Paris and travel there with friends in the holidays.
